Training.
Safety:
Marine Hazard can provide specific training on-board vessels while in service.
We recognise that while all crew have the necessary STCW short course certification this is provided in many different countries and training establishments. Marine Hazard Ltd., can coordinate training on board between the different nationalities and ranks. Our methods challenge crews to provide their own solutions to situations. Marine Hazard can integrate these individual crew members into a cohesive team.
A dedicated safety training officer may not be a viable option for small companies. Marine Hazard can develop a training programme to ensure that short course training received at recognised training centres is properly co-ordinated on your vessel or vessels. We provide emergency drills training in firefighting, abandon ship, emergency response to pollution, enclosed space entry etc.
Additionally, Marine Hazard ltd., provides expert training in the International Maritime Dangerous Good Code. We can tailor this training to the needs of each level of seafarer on board from those in command and control to the deck operator.
IMDG Code:
Marine Hazard can provide training to your organisation to comply with the mandatory and recommended IMDG Code chapter 1.3 requirements. In this regard our training is based on direct marine experience of dealing with IMDG cargo.
